The Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskara) are an important part of your Ashtanga practice. Traditionally, you start your practice with five Sun Salutation A’s and five Sun Salutation B’s. The Sun Salutations allow you to combine your breath, movement and gaze to set the meditative flow of your practice.
