Transform Your Practice: 200-Hour Emerson Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga ah Studio

Are you ready to step into your power, deepen your personal practice, and gain the confidence to teach authentic, accessible yoga? Whether you dream of leading your own classes or simply want to explore the lineage and science of yoga on a deeper level, finding the right home for your training makes all the difference.

For 18 years, Yoga ah Studio has been training passionate practitioners and guiding them to become successful, confident instructors. Our 200-Hour Emerson Yoga Teacher Training offers a proven, time-tested path rooted in traditional lineage, intelligent movement, and personal transformation.

Our upcoming cohort runs from October 2026 through February 2027, and we would love to welcome you into the circle.

Direct Mentorship from Senior Teacher Amber Jean

One of the biggest differences between our program and commercial studio chains is who you learn from. You won't be trained by a recent graduate—you will be directly mentored by Amber Jean, a senior yoga teacher with nearly two decades of experience leading teacher trainings and mentoring practitioners.

With an exceptional track record and a high success rate of graduates who go on to actively teach and thrive in the yoga community, Amber Jean provides direct, personalized support every step of the way. Class size is intentionally limited so you never get lost in a crowd; you get real feedback, authentic hands-on assists, and true mentorship.

Rooted in Ashtanga & Rocket Yoga

Emerson Yoga is a dynamic synthesis of Ashtanga and Rocket Yoga—the fundamental foundations of modern Vinyasa flow.

While Ashtanga builds structural integrity, discipline, and breath awareness (pranayama), Rocket Yoga brings fluid transitions, energy, and playfulness. Learning both gives you a unique edge: you’ll master creative, dynamic sequencing while honoring the classical roots of the practice.

What You’ll Learn Across 8 Accessible Weekends

Spread across 8 weekends over five months, our schedule fits smoothly into a busy routine:

  • Ashtanga, Rocket & Vinyasa Sequencing: Master the art of building intelligent, safe, and inspiring classes.

  • Anatomy & Alignment: Understand biomechanics and therapeutic applications so you can teach every body safely.

  • Hands-On Adjustments: Develop the tactile awareness to offer direct, impactful assists.

  • Philosophy, Pranayama & Meditation: Explore traditional wisdom texts, breathwork, and mindfulness.
