Rocket Training 100 hours

ROCKET TRAINING 100 hours

The next training begins Feb 27th and runs until March 2nd,2015

We offer 50 - 100 hour advanced training methods in the Rocket Vinyasa System. These trainings are specialized for learning Rocket sequences, theory and practice. They can also earn you continuing education hours for Yoga Alliance. The purpose of Rocket advanced training is to share the Rocket philosophy, sequencing and transitions. This training will give you the tools to deepen your practice and refine your teaching. We are part of a network of studios that feature the Rocket System as taught by Larry Schultz.

Our mission is to give you a strong foundation for your practice to blossom on and off the mat. By practicing living "our yoga and our truth" you will be empowered to create a vision and follow your dreams. Some of our graduates go on to open their own studios as well as travel the world facilitating yoga classes and workshops.

This training takes place over 5 days. Each day you will practice The Rocket Routines, including Rocket 2 and 3. You will also learn cross training methods for strengthening up for more advanced poses and transitions. You will practice developing your verbal instructions to make you a more confident yoga instructor. The Rocket will challenge you to open up to your spiritual fire and awaken a deeper purpose in yourself. We have also developed homework that you can take home with you after the training so you can continue to gain knowledge and experience as a Rocket instructor.

Often people walk into It’s Yoga with worry, stress and tiredness written all over their faces but when they leave, they show the effects of Ashtanga Yoga: they feel better and look better, lighter, freer, more relaxed and energized. This is why to me, teaching Ashtanga Yoga is a kind of self-realization; every time I lead class I, as a teacher, grow and express the insights of my own yoga. I see people take in the practice from various angles and develop, change and transcend their limitations, realize their possibilities.
